Distressed Vintage Card & FREEBIE!

Ik maak eigenlijk bijna nooit vintage kaartjes,

dus het was een hele uitdaging om met deze kaart aan de slag te gaan!

Ik heb de randjes bewerkt met een schaar en daarna beinkt

met bruine inkt zodat deze er verweerd en oud uit zien!

Het was ook een mooie kans om eens een oude bingo kaart te gebruiken!

I actually don't ever make vintage cards,
so it was a challenge for me to make this card!
I've distressed the edges with scissors and inked them
with brown ink to create the worn look of my card!
It was also a great opportunity to use an old bingo card!

Het was een ingewikkelde schets door de tag met het cirkeltje erop.

Ik heb eerst eens moeten nadenken wat ik daar mee ging doen

en hoe ik dat mooi wilde oplossen!

Ik heb het opgelost door een cirkel uit het dessin papier te knippen!

Zodat het zwarte cardstock er onder zichtbaar wordt.

It's a complicicated sketch due to the tag and circle on it.
I've had to think about what I wanted to do with that
and how I wanted to solve this beautifully!
I've solved it by cutting a circle out of the design paper!
That way you can see the black cardstock underneath.

Aangezien mijn kaartje de laatste tijd rood of roze zijn...

moest ik wel even overschakelen!

Ik weet niet waarom, maar ik heb zo'n moeite met deze schets gehad.

Ik kreeg het maar niet voor elkaar om het naar mijn zin te krijgen!

Maar... ik ben toch blij met het uiteindelijke resultaat!

I had to switch things up a bit for this one!
I don't know why, but I had a hard one with this sketch.
I couldnt get it to look like I wanted!
But... I am still verry happy with how it turned out!

maar ik borduur dan ook eigenlijk nooit!

Redwork appears to be a red kind of embroidery!
I had personally never heard of it...
but then again I don't do any embroidery!
The challenge di not mean you have to embroider,
but that you have to take your inspiration from this technique!
